Vans Warped Tour Offer Statement On Death In Toronto

UTG was saddened to learn of a young Warped Tour fan passing away on July 15 in Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre stop. Today, we have an official statement from the Vans officials on the measure taken to help this girl but no cause of death has been revealed as of yet.

“The Vans Warped Tour family is saddened by the death of a patron attending Toronto’s concert at The Flats at Molson Canadian Amphitheater on July 15, 2012. The patron collapsed and was immediately attended to by security and venue medical staff. After attempts to resuscitate on the grounds, the patron was later pronounced dead after arriving at a local hospital. Out of respect for the family, we have not released the name of the patron. The cause of the death has yet to be determined but the Warped Tour and Molson Amphitheater staff are working closely with the authorities to investigate and determine the nature surrounding the incident and will make further details known as they become available. Our deepest condolences are with the patron’s family and friends.”
