Between the Buried and Me Stream “Telos” from The Parallax II: Future Sequence

If your Monday sucked as much as mine has and you’re dying for some awesome metal to melt your angry face off, Between the Buried and Me have 10 minutes of such to do just the trick! They’ve unveiled “Telos” from their forthcoming full-length (72 minute run-time), The Parallax II: Future Sequence, and its everything you’d expect from BTBAM and then some.

On top of this mind-blowing track, the North Carolina progressive death metal outfit have released a bunch of pre-order packages for the new album before its October 9 release date via Metal Blade. If you like space, you’re bound to be loving these packages. Listen to “Telos” after the jump and you’ll feel like everything is all right. It worked for me.

In regards to The Parallax II: Future Sequence, vocalist Tommy Rogers has this to say: “I feel like we have created an album that perfectly mirrors the band we’ve been trying to create since day one. An album that has sounds that will stimulate many genres and music fans alike. A conceptual journey that takes the listener to worlds that seem familiar and worlds that make you scratch your head.”

  1. Absolutely brilliant.

  2. The most quenching and satisfying listen since colors.

A lot of The Great Misdirect and the first installment of Parallax were great but BTBAM somehow manages to continually evolve.
