DC-based hardcore group Police & Thieves are no strangers to awesome live shows. The band have been playing locally and around the East Coast for a while now, and I’ve found that the best way to experience them is to see them play in front of a crowd. Police & Thieves decided that they wanted to capture their live show and put out the results online for anyone to hear and download.
Their newest release Live @ WMUC takes songs from their fantastic records Fracturing and Amor Y Guerra and plays them in a live setting. The set was recorded on May 1, 2011 at WMUC radio station in College Park, MD with bands Praise and Troops of Tomorrow. This is a really great release, and if you like hardcore, do yourself a favor and give this live set, and band, a spin.
Police & Thieves is for fans of Dag Nasty and other fans of traditional styles of hardcore. Police & Thieves is currently a part of the Youngbloods Records family.
You can download the album here, or you can take a listen after the break.
