BOX OFFICE RESULTS: August 3-5

It was a slow weekend for the cinema, but Batman stays on top. For the third weekend in a row The Dark Knight Rises leads the pack in revenue for the weekend. New releases Total Recall and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days placed second and third respectively. Total Recall had disappointing numbers despite doing second best of the weekend, especially considering the 125 million dollar budget.
