Sony to Make ALF Movie

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Sony recently acquired the licence to make a movie based on the 1986’s television show “Alf”. It’s being made into family friendly version of this year’s Ted, with a combination of Live Action and CGI characters. The picture will be produced by Jordan Kerner, who has also created the Live Action/CGI The Smurfs and 2013’s The Smurfs 2.

ALF was a television show in the 1980s about an Alien Life Form come to Earth and begins living with a middle class family while hiding from shadowy government figures. Paul Fusco is expected to return to voice Alf.
