Death Cab for Cutie frontman, Benjamin Gibbard, announced a couple weeks ago that he would be releasing his debut solo album, Former Lives, on October 16 via Barsuk Records. Today, Gibbard posted Former Lives‘ album artwork and has announced new tour dates for this Fall. Check out the artwork for Former Lives after the jump.

Gibbard will be embarking on a short, cross-country tour this September-November. The tour kicks off on 26 September in Big Sur, California and will conclude on November 14 in Los Angeles. Joining Gibbard on various dates will be Advance Base or Damien Jurado. Take the jump to also see the full list of dates, along with ticket information.
