Mark Barela Parts Ways With At The Skylines

At The Skylines have announced that vocalist Mark Barela will be leaving the band to pursue a life with his growing family. They have indicated that instead of finding a brand new vocalist, Chris Shelley will be taking over vocals for the group. While we are sad to see Mark go we are excited for him to be on a new and exciting path that will sure make him happy.

ATS will be releasing their acoustic EP To Build An Empire September 18, so be sure to check that out once it’s on sale. The band still plans on touring, so head over to the band’s Facebook page for a list of tour dates/venues.

At The Skylines has been, and will always be here for you. With out each and every one of you we wouldn’t be here. Unfortunately we have to say good bye to one of our best friends, as well as an amazing vocalist. I understand it may be upsetting from an outside perspective, as well as not knowing all the details. All I’d like everyone to know is that Mark is raising a beautiful family, and unfortunately must move on with his personal life. We are all on good terms, and still the best of friends. As far as the band goes.. we aren’t slowing down one bit! Our acoustic ep ‘ To Build An Empire ‘ will be available September 18th, followed with our European tour! After that we’ll be touring the states again! We will not be replacing Mark.. as I will be stepping up to take the lead of all vocals. We’re all extremely excited to see where this takes us as we have some awesome stuff planned for you guys! I love you all and can’t wait to continue sharing my dream to those that are inspired to live theirs! – Chris // At The Skylines
