Under The Gun’s photographer Tori Thomas attended the Miniature Tigers show at Musica in Akron on July 27.
I’ve seen Miniature Tigers once before, on the fun. tour. This show was totally different, it was more intimate and unique. During a lot of the songs, Charlie Brand, lead singer, would interact with the audience. Also half way through the set, a kid came on stage to join in the fun; he joined the band by playing tambourine. I think Miniature Tigers has a new touring member, he was excellent at that tambourine. Some people don’t like Miniature Tigers’ new stuff, but I am a fan of it. I really dig the 80s and their newer music has an 80s-vibe. They put on an excellent show, much like the first time I saw them live.
