Craig Owens Wants New Chiodos Album

Craig Owens (Chiodos) made an appearance on The Gunz Show to announce that his band might be recording another album in the future. No word yet if that is YES or NO but we hope so. Read what Owens said on the show by simply reading below.

“It feels amazing. It’s kind of hard to describe. It’s kind of like when you don’t see a girlfriend that you were in love with for so long and then you get back together and by the second date it’s like you never ended it. You know? We just picked up where we left off in a way.

I really want to do another Chiodos record, and I think that’s probably what’s gonna happen now. That wasn’t the plan originally – the plan was just to do the shows and see what happens. And now that we’re playing the shows, we’re starting to work on our relationships. I know one thing: whatever I do next, I want to stay with it as long as I can, cause I’m tired of this back and forth shit. I want to play music and do what I love.”

Upvote for you, downvote for him.

If no one cared, they wouldn’t have an audience at their shows….so ‘f’ you! :)

Bullshit. Chiodos was nothing without Craig. Brandon hardly fit the style Chiodos had when they released their earlier work such as All’s Well That Ends Well. Sure, they tried some new stuff out, but honestly they lacked that raw sound that they’ve been loved for since the band was established.

This is one of the most unintelligent comments I’ve seen today.

Duh? Of course it wasn’t going to be the same. The band’s lineup had some drastic alterations. Like it or not, Iluminaudio was their greatest album to date, instrumentally. Furthermore, it’s easily arguable that Bolmer is the better vocalist. His voice is definitely stronger.

I loved the band with both vocalists, but nostalgia and personal bias out of the way, they sounded their best when Bolmer was in the band.

I liked the first 2 Chiodos records, but they moved in a much more interesting direction with Illuminaudio. I am curious but my expectations are extremely low.
