UK-folk act Frank Turner announced today that he will be putting out a covers split with Frank Nicolay on Asbestos Records. The split will feature Frank Turner covering English composor Sir Noel Pierce Coward. This is a part of what they are calling their “Double Exposure Series.”

I think this is a really awesome idea, and would love for this to become “a thing.” I love older styles of music, and to hear new takes on them is always a really interesting listen. And let’s be real, Frank Turner and Franz Nckolay are worth listening to under any circumstance.
