I just watched this at my office, and the first thing I needed to do was share it with all of you. As many of you know, here at UTG we are HUGE horror movie fans. That being said, we also hate unnecessary and bad remakes, because it’s so freaking annoying and disappointing. Today we would love to share with you an animation by Frederico D’Alessandro that was created by Platinum Dune to pitch the idea of Halloween 3D to Dimension.
I went into this nine minute animation with HUGE preconceptions about how awful it was going to be, but to be honest I found myself on the edge of my seat the entire time. It’s intense, it’s gritty, and honestly sadistic. Yeah, it’s just rough animation, but it had me filled with more nervous energy than anything horror-related that I’ve watched in a while. Seriously, this is so good, and I would be throwing my money at a remake made in this vein. Also look at that concept art as the featured image!!! UGH.
Okay, enough talk, go through the break and watch the animation. You will be thanking me in the comments section.
