Female indie rock duo Tegan and Sara released a trailer this morning on their birthday, announcing that their next single would be released on September 25, called “Closer”. They tease several other videos to come as music plays in the background.
Their new album lacks a tentative release date or title, but it seems the lovely ladies intend to announce it on their Youtube in the coming weeks. We here at UTG are always excited to see what the creative Canadians are up to, and anxiously await the new tunes.

“Closer” inspired me to write a little ‘chain of influences’ post for Tegan and Sara–basically looking at Band A, seeing they were influenced by Band B, who was influenced by Band C et c.
