WTF: Beach Boys’ Mike Love Cuts Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, David Marks From Touring Line-Up

The Beach Boys 2012

Beach Boys’ Mike Love has certainly made himself known as one of the biggest tools in music by completely cutting out founding members Brian Wilson, Al Jardine as well as David Marks from the band’s touring line-up. Why has he done this? Apparently, he said that the lineup was only meant to include the founding members for their 50th anniversary tour.

According to The Telegraph, Love made this ridiculous statement earlier today.

“The post-50th anniversary configuration will not include Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and David Marks. The 50th Reunion Tour was designed to be a set tour with a beginning and an end to mark a special 50-year milestone for the band.”

Beach Boys’ founding member Brian Wilson told CNN “I’m disappointed and can’t understand why he doesn’t want to tour with Al, David and me. We are out here having so much fun. After all, we are the real Beach Boys.”
