Talk about a fourth installment in Ice Cube’s insanely-successful Friday film series has been swirling the internet for awhile, but it seems that talk is being actualized in Hollywood, and a new interview sheds some light on Cube’s plans.
While doing press for the television version of his Are We There Yet? film series, the conversation turned to plans for Friday 4. While Ice Cube noted that he has yet to officially offer Chris Tucker a role in the film, he confirms that he plans to do so and hopes Tucker will agree, adding “you should never outgrow your fan base.” You can view a clip from the interview after the jump.
The Friday series has been dormant for some time, but the return of Tucker (who has been absent since the original) could definitely give the series the jolt of freshness it needs to win over movie goers at the box office.
What do you think? Would you like to see Chris Tucker, aka Smokey, back for Friday 4?
