Consistently the head banging life-of-the-party, Andrew W.K. recently used a one-million volt keyboard rigged with tesla coils on a rainy Friday night in Manhattan to play his song, “Party Hard”, through magician David Blaine‘s body.

The trick was for Blaine’s newest feat, Electrified, a three-day stunt that didn’t generate a lot of attention.

Entertainment Weekly said, “With the exception of a few shocking moments of beauty and awe where Blaine was surrounded by a cloud of blue streaks of electricity, his stunt has yet to deliver any great wows. Electrified seems like more of a glorified corporate sponsorship with Ultrabook than a Blaine-worthy feat.”

However, maybe the stunt wasn’t a complete waste. Fuse had the opportunity to catch up with Andrew W.K. before the stunt and explained that “…when it’s raining like this and you have a million volts of electricity surging around in the middle of Manhattan, you’re in good shape for a lot of fun and partying.”
