Justin Bieber Attempts Trolling; Releases “Beauty And The Beat” Video

Justin Bieber did his best to kickstart viral promotion for his new single yesterday by posting a Twitter message that lead fans to believe his laptop and camera had been stolen during a recent performance. This of course lead to gossip blogs and pop culture rags discussing the possibility of nudes, sex tapes, and/or demos leaking onto the web, and there was even a few sites that ended up running a false nude, but this morning it turns out all those digital letters were for not because the theft never happened. That’s right, it was a lie.

This morning Bieber released the official music video for his Nicki Minaj assisted single, “Beauty And The Beat.” This would have absolutely nothing to do with the above story of thievery, except for the fact that the video is supposedly “recovered footage” from the stolen devices. You know, because all pop megastars carry their devices around, pointed at their face, while lip syncing their own songs and walking through extravagant parties. You can view the video after the jump.
