In 2012, no one does epic quite like Lana Del Rey. The “Video Games” singer has already made a splash this year with her larger-than-life persona and videos that feel more like films, but today’s clip might be the one that takes the cake. Sticking with her Americana theme, Lana falls in love with a member of Hell’s Angels and takes off across the desert on an adventure of love and heartache set against her haunting vocals. Now this should probably go without saying (or, uh, writing), but if Lana Del Rey’s previous efforts didn’t wet your appetite there is a strong possibility you’ll want to rip your ears off before the music even begins in this clip. Del Rey has a style that polarizes her more than it helps, and it takes a certain type of fan to put up with all the “fluff” she feels the need to inject into things. Consider yourself warned.
