The Rolling Stones Announce Four Shows; Offering VIP Tickets For $813

The Rolling Stones are back, but those hoping to see them this Winter better be ready to pay.

Taking to their Facebook today (because geriatric rockers are hip like that), The Rolling Stones officially announced four shows which had been rumored for about a week. The first two performances will be at London’s O2 Arena on November 25 & 29, while the others will be stateside at the Newark Prudential Center in New Jersey on December 13 and 15.

Pre-Sale for the London shows commences today at 12:30pm BST (Amex/ VIP/ Hotel packages), while pre-sale for O2 customers and subscribers to StonesArchive.com commences on Wednesday 17th October at 9am BST. General on sale commences at 9am Friday 19th October.

Pre-sale for the New Jersey shows commences Saturday, October 20 at 12pm EST (VIP packages), while pre-sale for AMEX users and subscribers to StonesArchive.com commences on Monday the 22 at 12pm. General on sale commences at 12pm on Friday, October 26.

More information on both shows can be found here.

As we mentioned in the tagline, these shows are ridiculously overpriced. I’m not great at converting the London ticket costs without wasting time on Google, but a quick glance to the TicketMaster page for either New Jersey show reveals tickets priced at $95 (plus fees) and $750 (plus fees). That’s it. No cheap seats, no obstructed view discounts, no nothing.

Do you feel these prices are ridiculous? Comment below and let us know if you’ll be coughing up the big bucks to see “Satisfaction” live this December!
