Heroes For Hire Announce New Members

Sydney punk outfit Heroes For Hire have announced that they added Anthony Curaso and Matthew “Gremlin” Gravolin to the band’s line-up. Read the lengthy update from HFH below and give the members a warm welcome.

“After guitarist Alex Bonic stepped down in August and drummer Lee McGaritty left the group (to focus on his family) shortly after, Heroes For Hire have announced that Anthony Caruso and Matthew “Gremlin” Gravolin of The Bride will be joining the Sydney-based pop-punks on drums and guitar respectively.

Those who caught Heroes on their recent tour with Yellowcard would have already seen the new look line-up in action, with guitarist / vocalist Duane Hazell stating, “Gremlin and Anthony are two of our best friends and have been involved with our band in one way or another for years now, so when it came to replacing Lee and Alex it made perfect sense to ask them to join permanently.”

Those concerned that this move may spell the end for The Bride need not worry. According to Caruso, “Matt and I joining Heroes For Hire just made sense. Both Heroes and The Bride have always been one big happy family and this is just an extension of that. The Bride’s future is looking bright as we’re undergoing some big changes and working hard on a new record that we can’t wait to share with you all.”

Having toured nationally on the 2012 Soundwave Festival, headlining shows throughout Australia, China and Thailand and of course, releasing their Steve Klein (New Found Glory) produced third album, No Apologies this past September, Heroes will be seeing the year out with select one-off shows and a stint around Australia with highly-touted Americans Mayday Parade (whom they befriended on a recent Japanese tour) and We Are The In Crowd this December.”
