UTG PREMIERE: Maker – “I Had To Put My Lady Down”

Massachusetts’ Maker have undergone quite a few sonic changes over the years, and it seems they’ve finally settled into a sound fitting of their struggle on their latest, self-titled, EP. While fans of the band will have to wait until November 13 to hear the full extent of this new found sound, listeners can get an early taste today thanks to the UTG premiere of “I Had To Put My Lady Down.” This track serves as one of the more ballad-like moments of the EP, and it’s sure to hit home to many young adults on the rise. You can stream the song after the jump.

As I mentioned above, Maker will release their new EP on November 13. You can pre order the new album from Engineer Records digitally and in the UK here, in the US through Asbestos Records here, or you can click here to order a copy on vinyl via Black Numbers.
