Blink-182 Leave Interscope Records

Blink-182 guitarist Tom Delonge has publicly announced that the pop punk group is no longer associated with Interscope Records and will now be moving forward as an independent rock act.

In a tweet sent from his personal account a short while ago, Delonge posted:

Freedom!! Blink as of today, is now an independent Artist!!!!! http://instagr.am/p/RIqJh9ru6A/ http://fb.me/1TpxE1U07

You can view the attached photo, which features Mel Gibson’s character from Braveheart, below. Blink-182 are reportedly hoping to start work on a new album soon, so keep an eye out for updates in the coming weeks.

    Did you just say it’s going to be weird NOT seeing Interscope on their albums? How old are you kid? I remember when it used to be Cargo Music and MCA back in the 90’s.

  4. It’s simple why Blink-182 left Interscope.The label tries to hold them up make sure the band changed the date of their album release,saying this is not good or that.
