Do You Want To See A ‘Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion 2’?

Sequels are everywhere these days, so it is only logical that more and more obscure pseudo hits will begin coming out of the woodwork for a chance at a comeback in coming years. One of the most recent titles to join this desire to return is the team behind Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.

The film, which followed two best friends in their late twenties who attended their high school reunion having accomplished essentially nothing in life and learned to be okay with themselves, was released in 1997 and had until this morning been largely absent from our fond childhood memories. However, it seems the timing is right for Romy and Michele to attend their twenty-fifth anniversary, and you better believe there are people who want to cash in. VH1 reports stars Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow have both expressed a desire to bring the franchise back and have recently launched a Twitter account asking fans to do the same. You can view a tweet from the account below:

I wasn’t lying when I said there are few memories in my mind of the original film, but I do recall a fair share of my female friends thinking it was fantastic. Do you think enough fire exists in fans to bring this duo back? Comment below and let us know!
