New Details Emerge About Mitch Lucker’s Death

Police are still investigating the events that lead up to the death of Suicide Silence frontman Mitch Lucker this morning, but a new report out of Orange County, California has shed new light on the case.

According to an updated report on The Press-Enterprise, which can be read here, police have released the following information about the accident that lead to the injury which eventually took Lucker’s life:

Lucker, 28, was riding his black 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle in Huntington Beach, where he lives, about 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, according to a statement from the city’s Police Department. He lost control, collided with a light pole at the intersection of Main and 13th streets, and was ejected.

The motorcycle kept moving, and hit a Nissan Titan pickup. The truck’s occupants were not injured, nor were nearby trick-or-treaters, police said.

Lucker was seriously injured and was treated on scene by paramedics, then taken to UCI Medical Center. According to the Orange County coroner’s office, he was pronounced dead at the hospital at 6:17 a.m. Thursday.

The investigation into the cause of the collision or whether alcohol was a factor is ongoing, police said.

We will bring you more information as it is released.

Yes a helmet was used I believe as I’ve seen a few pictures of him riding with a grey helmet on his HD. The bigger question for me right now is how could this of been avoided and can any of the factors be used to help prevent a future accident of the same kind.

R.I.P Mitch, You lived life hard!

  4. I would say the biggest question is whether or not he was drunk.
