MUSIC VIDEO: Mumford & Sons – “Lover of the Light”

Mumford & Sons 2012

Riding high on the greatest success an indie album has seen in two decades, Mumford & Sons just released the video for their latest single, “Lover of the Light.” Serving as the second single off Babel, the folk group recruits actor Idris Elba as director and star of their latest visuals. You can view the video after the jump.

My previous comment was no joke. Babel was the first independently released album to be number one for two consecutive weeks since the soundtrack to The Lion King was released in 1992. How the soundtrack to a Disney film was an indie release is still strange to me, but either way the accomplishment of Mumford & Sons is something to admire.
