The American Music Awards took place last night. Didn’t know? Neither did we until blogs started reporting on it sometime in the early hours of today. It’s not that we’ve lost touch with the mainstream, it’s simply that a faceless group of rich people telling me who is the best American artist without considering the broad spectrum of talent just hold nothing of interest for us. Everything those shows can offer is made available on YouTube the next day, and that brings us to this story.

Last night, Psy brought out none other than MC Hammer to perform his smash single, “Gangnam Style.” Halfway through their performance, the duo unleashed a mashup between Psy’s hit and Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit” that has to be heard to be believed. You can view their performance after the jump.
