Mac Miller has long been a youngster with a sense of wonder about the world of music outside hip hop. One listen to any of his releases and you’re sure to find influence from virtually every genre, so it only makes sense that he is finally stretching his legs and experimenting in these other realms himself.

Last night, Mac took to social network to drop his new EP, You. Unlike everything his fans have known him for outside of the free singles we’ve seen in 2012, this album is straight up jazz music. That is not a joke, though it probably isn’t exactly what you have in mind either. All I’ll say for now is that Miller is definitely proving his staying power by showcasing this side of himself, and every fan should give the EP a chance. Click here to download your copy.
