Sharks To Begin Recording Second Album

British punk band Sharks have announced they will begin recording their sophomore album this Monday, November 26. They used the typical Thanksgiving band post to thank the Grammy Awards in advance for winning album of the year (really), and apparently have all the album already written.

The full post reads “Dear adoring and loving Sharks fans, we’re very excited to say that we’ll be heading into the studio on Monday to officially start recording our second album! We’ve been writing and demoing new material for the past couple of months and we can’t wait to finally start tracking it all. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank The Grammys in advance for awarding us with Album of the Year.

This may only be the band’s second full length, but they’ve done several EPs and singles over the years that were separate from album releases. The album should come out in 2013.
