Our friends over at AbsolutePunk.net are exclusively streaming a new song from Broadway Calls entitled “Lucky Lighter”.

AbsolutePunk.net calls the song “a slow-burn of a punk song featuring a fantastic chorus.”

The song will be featured on the band’s No Sleep Records debut, Comfort/Distraction, which will be released on February 5, 2013. Pre-orders for the album started today and can be picked up at No Sleep Records’ web store.

“With Comfort/Distraction, I think we have the best melodies and the best songwriting we’ve ever done,” says Broadway Calls guitarist/vocalist Ty Vaughn. “This is actually the first Broadway Calls record that we’ve made as a band, as opposed to the past where it was just Josh and I in the practice space together. Having someone as talented as Adam be an equal part of things was incredible during the entire writing/recording process.”

Comfort/Distraction will serve as the follow-up to Broadway Calls’ 2009 sophomore record, Good Views, Bad News. Needless to say, the anticipated release of this record has been a long time coming for Broadway Calls fans.
