Spike Jonze has been around for a while directing all types of films. Many of you probably know him for his more mainstream directoral efforts like Where the Wild Things Are, Being John Malkovich and Jackass: The Movie. However Mr. Jonze got his start not making feature films, but rather making skate videos. In today’s trailer, we are excited to share Spike Jonze’s newest skate film, Pretty Sweet.
This is his first skate film since 2007’s Lakai’s Fully Flared, and you can tell that it has that same Spike Jonze flare (pun intended). The shots are gorgeous, the skating is top notch, and honestly it’s just going to be an all around wonderful skate film. Spike got together again with the same team of Ty Evans and Cory Weincheque, and we can really feel the same aesthetic of his other films.
Now you’re probably wondering “Hey UTG, when does this awesome looking film come out?” Well I got good news, it’s already on iTunes. You can rent/buy/however iTunes works the film right now, here. Now it doesn’t really get much better than that, does it? I’m going to pick it up later today.
You can check out the trailer after the break, but make sure you let UTG know what you think of the new trailer and film.
