Kingdom Of Giants Lose Two Members

We are sad to report that the metalcore outfit known as Kingdom Of Giants have announced that their clean vocalist and drummer have decided to leave the band to pursue other endeavors. The band has made an official statement on the situation via their Facebook page, but you can also see what they had to say below.

According to their statement they have already found a replacement drummer and still plan on recording their full length album they’ve been working on. Be sure though to show them some love as they adjust to their new lineup I’m sure they will appreciate it!

Tonight we are officially announcing that our clean singer Stephen, and our drummer Truman have decided to part ways with KOG. Stephen has decided that he is no longer interested in Metal or Hardcore or whatever the fuck you want to call us anymore. He has decided to pursue his dreams of being a solo R&B / Pop artist. Truman has decided that the life you have to leave behind, and the commitments you have to make to be a part of our genre, was not for him and he will pursue his career in drumming elsewhere. We are ALL still friends and respect what they would like to do. There is absolutely no love lost between any members.

We understand that there are 3 reactions to this. Some of you may say, “KOG is fucked” and never listen to us again. Some may say, “Good, I couldn’t stand the clean singing anyway”. But what we hope most of you say is, “Fuck it, ill support KOG either way”.

Lucky for you guys, we don’t skip a beat. We already have a new amazing drummer who we couldn’t be happier with, and have decided to continue as a 5 piece for now, with Dana doing both screams and cleans.

Unfortunately what this does mean is that we will have to push back the release of the album for about a month. We will still be performing and headlining the EVERY WAVE OF SOUND TOUR, with Mureau and We The Gathered, but it has changed from a CD release tour, to a CD support tour.

Stephen will not be singing on the album, with the exception of MJ Returns as a bonus track. We did not want to record anything that we would never be able to perform for our fans live.
