Glad tidings, good cheer, and heavy riffage for all.
Metalcore act August Burns Red just put out a video for their cover of “Frosty The Snowman”. The track comes from the band’s October release August Burns Red Presents: Sleddin’ Hill, A Holiday Album. Wait, October release? That doesn’t seem very Christmassy guys. But I wouldn’t want to go up against holiday albums from Josh Groban or Michael Bublé myself.
That said, the band’s holiday album is an all instrumental affair. Since Trans-Siberian Orchestra gets a lot of play this time of year, you might be able to slip in some of August Burns Red’s Christmas cuts into Dad’s Yule Mix: Holi-Jams! 2012 CD that he just made and none will be the wiser.
Check out the video after the jump.
