WATCH: Major League Perform Acoustic Set Outside After Show Shut Down

MajorLeague-Sep12-6201

Pop/punk band Major League seemed to be on the upside with their new record and a successful cover of Foo Fighter’s “Everlong”. Last night, they were supposed to have a record release party in Freehold, New Jersey for Hard Feelings. The show was shut down by police; some are reporting that it was because of fighting, others have said it was just because of moshing. In guitarist Matt Chila’s own words, it was “shut down for moshing then some prick almost got his ass kicked cause he was starting shit with Brian forcing him to stop playn [sic]”.

The band responded as brilliantly as any act could, though, and took outside with their acoustic instruments to perform a set by their van. It sucks a few bad apples ruin the bunch, but let’s be happy Major League performed acoustic until the cops kicked them off the property. One smart fan captured it on video. You can watch the performance yourself by sticking around after the jump.

I finished school with a music theory degree. Before I finished school, I was a janitor. You really should apologize to all the janitors you've ever had. You hurt them. Seriously. You did.

But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
