TRAILER: Do It Together (Documentary)

We here at UTG are always trying to bring you the best in up and coming bands and independent films. With Do It Together, these two merge. The film is a full length independent documentary on the Do-It-Yourself scene, connecting everyone from modern day math rockers Tera Melos to noise group Deerhoof to new wave band Devo. In the words of the trailer itself, “This is the incredible movie event that will describe in incredible detail the entire do-it-yourself process“. Seems to me like anyone who ever wondered how musicians network or pave the way themselves will want to check out this film.

The sound track in the trailer is “I Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Are Me And We Am I And I Are All Our Together: Our Collective Consciousness’ Psychogenic Fugue” by Giraffes? Giraffes! from the album More Skin With Milk-Mouth. I’m not making any part of that up. There’s no word on Do It Together‘s scheduled release date – and the web site listed in the trailer is currently down – but we’ll update you as things come along. Combining a love of independent film and independent music should prove to be a great watch. See the trailer yourself by clicking “Read more”.
