B.o.B. Has A New Hip-Hop Album And A Rock EP In The Works

B.o.B.

2012 isn’t over yet, but rapper B.o.B., real name Bobby Ray, is already planning on doing 2013 big.

During an appearance on Sway in the Morning, B.o.B. dished on some of his upcoming projects for the new year. Can you believe he’s going to put out his third album some time in the next twelve months? I mean, his sophomore release Strange Clouds just came out this past May. But that’s not all.

“2013 I would expect an album from B.o.B. and a rock EP as well,” said Ray, referring to himself in the third person. Wow, exciting! Maybe this will give B.o.B. a chance to flex his musical chops. Tell us more Bobby!

Apparently he’s been working on this for a long time, stating that rock music isn’t something you can rush. “That type of music, you gotta let that marinate for a minute,” says B.o.B. of rock songs, as opposed to rap, which you can apparently “deep fry”. As for any guest appearance on the EP, Ray is keeping mum, though he would like to work with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and “of course Linkin Park.” Oh, if only likes and wants meant features on cuts.

Between the album and the EP, Bobby Ray should be careful; if he puts out too much music next year he might oversatu(Bobby)RAYte the market.

I’ll see myself out.
