New Rilo Kiley Album Nearly Finished

Indie-rock band, Rilo Kiley announced on Facebook earlier that their new album is almost finished.

“Record is almost finished, and artwork is nearly done. Going to need your help! More to come,” the band posted to Facebook.

According to Rolling Stone, the band broke up after the release of their 2007 album, Under The Blacklight, due to claims of disloyalty from guitarist Blake Sennett.

“I just felt like there was a lot of deception, disloyalty, greed and things I don’t really want to submit myself to,” Sennett told Spinner. “I had related that frustration to music but I just thought, ‘I’m not going to put myself in that position again,’ so I said, ‘Fuck that, I can’t do this anymore.'”

Members of Rilo Kiley have spent a lot of time pursuing other creative outlets over the years, but the news of a new album is sure to excite long-time fans of the band. More news on this release to come.
