The Plot In You will be releasing their new, downright brutal album later this month, and today we have another new song to preview.
“Digging Your Grave” was released through the Rise Records Youtube page last night, but it’s not necessarily the song that has everybody talking.
Shortly after “Digging Your Grave” made its online premiere, vocalist Landon Tewers tweeted:
There is ONE song about mr. Carlile and it’s “Digging Your Grave”. Hate me for it, I don’t give a fuck. You’ll never know why either.
— Landon Tewers (@Landontours) January 3, 2013
As you can guess, this message sent ripples throughout the online community with forums and fans clamoring for more information. None was given however, so consider the first “promotional linkbait” of the year has officially recorded.
You can stream “Digging Your Grave” after the jump. Could You Watch Your Children Burn hits stores January 15.
I think you know me, I think you know why I’m here, it’s time I take what’s mine, I think you know me, I think you know why I’m here, I will not waste my time, do you remember the night I told you you’d lost it? I swear that I mean it, I’m not afraid to admit that I’ve changed, I’m not to be trusted, there’s nothing you can do, there’s nothing you can say that will change my thinking, you can’t change things, all I know is this is wrong and I’m taking back what’s mine and you can watch me, listen close, you will never cross my mind and you can trust me, I hope that you know that it’s been my mission to ruin you, I will not sleep until its done, what were you expecting? You know that I’m so cold, and “my emotions are aimless”, you don’t stand a chance, you don’t stand a fucking chance prick, I won’t control myself this time, and I will laugh in the face of the fuck that betrayed me, one by one he will say his petty words, and one by one I will tear his limbs apart, one by one, I will tear your limbs apart, and to your friends, fuck, fuck them all, fuck you all you worthless slime, no I will never let this down, all I know is this is wrong and I’m taking back what’s mine and you can watch me, listen close, you will never cross my mind and you can trust me, you will never cross my mind
