Fun., The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons and More To Perform at Grammys

According to Rolling Stone, Fun., The Black Keys and Mumford & Sons along with Taylor Swift and Rihanna are among the first artists selected to perform at the 55th annual Grammy Awards on February 10.

Fun. and Mumford & Sons will be putting their albums, Some Nights and Babel respectively, up against The Black Keys’ El Camino for Album of the Year.

Jack Antonoff of fun. told Rolling Stone, “To have the album recognized and have songs other than ‘We Are Young’ recognized makes us feel like we pushed past what we wanted to and became so much more than just a big song. That was, for me at least, the last affirming moment [to say] ‘Okay, fuck it, I can stop worrying about being a one-hit wonder, because we just got nominated for Album of the Year!'”

Fun. is also in the running for Best New Artist as well as Record of the Year, placing “We Are Young” against The Black Keys’ “Lonely Boy” and Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”.

Total, fun. and Mumford & Sons are each up for six nominations while The Black Keys have been nominated for five. Taylor Swift and Rihanna are each up for three nominations.

The Grammys will be hosted by LL Cool J and are set to announce more surprises shortly.
