The wait is over!
After years of speculation and more than a handful of false reports, UTG can now confirm on good authority that Justin Timberlake will be releasing a brand new single later today. This news is the result of three separate headlines we have been working on this morning, so let’s take a second to recap what has been happening.
Yesterday, Florida radio station 97.9 made claims Justin Timberlake would release a new single this coming Monday, January 14, with a guest appearance from Jay-Z. Seeing as most labels deliver new music to radio at the beginning of the week, the news made sense even if it did not seem too likely.
The news of Timberlake’s pending return wasn’t met with the usual barrage of labels and reps telling the press it was all lies, and word slowly began to spread throughout the blogosphere that something BIG was on the way. Then, just as we were getting ready to contact our own label rep, Timberlake tweeted the following:

The title of the single has yet to be revealed, but Charlamagne Tha God from Power 105 says it features Jay-Z and is produced by Timbaland. We’ll keep you updated as this story continues to develop.
UPDATE: Billboard is reporting that Justin Timberlake and Timbaland’s collaboration doesn’t end with this new single. According to Billboard, sources close to Timberlake confirm that the singer will release a new album, “more sooner than later.” Sources also stated to Billboard that Timberlake’s upcoming album will be completely produced by Timbaland.
