My Heart To Joy And With Honor Are Reuniting To Play A Sandy Hook Benefit Show

with honor

My Heart To Joy and With Honor are getting their respective bands back together to play a one-off reunion show to benefit Sandy Hook.

While we wish these bands were playing again under happier circumstances, the fact that they’re leveraging their appeal for such a worthy cause is beyond commendable.

The rest of the bill for the show is rounded by fellow Connecticut-based punk acts Hostage Calm, Call It Arson, and Ovlov.

The show will be taking place at Hungarian Hall in Wallingford, CT on February 9th. Tickets for the show run at a minimum of $10. Donations can also be made for those who wish to support the event but won’t be able to attend. Ticket purchases and cash donations can both be made here.

All proceeds from ticket sales are going directly to Newtown Youth And Family Services, a non-profit, mental health clinic and youth service bureau.

Now we’re not going to put on a red suit, stand next to a bucket, ring a bell at you as you walk by, and make you feel guilty if you don’t give. But think about it.
