Emo and math rock are two of my favorite genres, so combining them is always a plus for me. Emo math rockers This Town Needs Guns have a new album out on Sargent House, 184.108.40.206.0, that has so far been getting rave reviews; you should expect a review from UTG on it soon. Today the band released a stream of the full album, so you can decide for yourself before it comes out.
In my brief listening to it so far, it’s one of the most accessible and meaningful entries in music that’s rhythmically complex. What do you think? Stream the album and let us know your thoughts after the jump.
Or listen to each song individually here.
But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
