Jerry Seinfeld will always be remembered as the stand up comic who owned the 90s with his show about nothing, Seinfeld; may god have mercy on our souls if I ever have to explain to a child that he was funny and isn’t “the guy from Bee Movie“. I pray that day never comes. The hit sitcom’s cultural reach is deep; rapper Wale made two mixtapes that took influence from it, 2008’s The Mixtape About Nothing and 2010’s More About Nothing.

Now, Wale and Jerry Seinfeld are working on a mixtape together. Jerry will be penning lyrics, with Wale handling everything else (and I would assume he may change Jerry’s words around to fit over a beat a little). Wale posted a video featuring Jerry to his Youtube page, which is a must see if this idea intrigues you at all. It’s not known for sure what the name of the mixtape is, but the description for the video is “#Nothing Coming Soon…“, so perhaps this one is just called Nothing.
