Little has been heard from The Dear Hunter since the release of The Color Spectrum, but it now seems that will soon be changing thanks to a teasing update from the band.

Taking to their social networks today, The Dear Hunter quasi-announced they will be releasing a new album in 2013 by announcing plans to announce the album later this week during a live performance on StageIt by frontman Casey Crescenzo. You can read the update below:

Hey friends- This Thursday, 1/24/13, at 8pm EST, Casey will be doing his first ever StageIt show to celebrate the announcing of the new album. He’ll be playing a couple old favorites, and a couple previously unheard songs from the new album. You don’t want to miss this! Click the link to buy a ticket to the show. It’s pay-what-you-want, so give whatever you can and enjoy the show! See you Thursday.
