The world said farewell to Underoath last night, but not before the band revealed a few last minute surprises.

In the midst of their final performance ever, Underoath stopped the music momentarily to welcome former drummer Aaron Gillespie onto the stage. Gillespsie left the band a few years back, but was one of the early members that helped the band develop their signature sound. The appearance was followed with both Aaron and current drummer Daniel Davison working together for a track, then Davison left the stage and allowed Gillespie to take the spotlight for one last rendition of the fan favorite, “Reinventing Your Exit.” You can view fan shot footage of that performance below.
