Today is a strange day thus far. Frank Ocean and Chris Brown are throwing punches, Rick Ross is evading gunfire, and now video surfaces of Michelle Williams destroying all hope in a Destiny’s Child comeback in 2013.

KarenCivil brought to light a new video this morning that features Michelle Williams doing an interview about the rumored Destiny’s Child performance during the 2013 Super Bowl. As you can see in the footage below, the interviewer approaches Williams with the belief the reunion is indeed happening, and is soon corrected by Williams who claims no such performance or comeback is planned. To quote her directly:

(in regards to the reunion rumor) “..Okay..That’s not confirmed, it is rumored. I’m going to be in the musical Fela!. I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it’s not true……I’m so sorry. We did record a song together before the holidays. One day, we’ll see. We talked about it….”
