Future Releases “Karate Chop” Remix; Faces Second Paternity Suit of 2013

Everyone faces ups and downs in life, but for Future they seem to be happening at the same time.

Future kicked off this weekend with the release of his new remix for “Karate Chop.” The original did almost nothing for us, but the addition of Young Money CEO Lil Wayne to the redux adds just enough spice to raise the mediocre song to a level of tolerable that should be good enough to warrant a few spins at major market radio stations. It’s nothing you’ll remember at the end of the year, but anyone looking for something catchy to listen to this morning can discover the remix (and download a copy for themselves) after the jump.

New music wasn’t the only development in Future’s life this weekend. A woman from Georgia has stepped into the public limelight with a lawsuit claiming the rapper fathered a child she gave birth to on December 4 of last year. This is the second paternity suit Future has faced in 2013, with another woman winning a suit against him in January and based on the woman’s request that any dispute from Future be returned with a court-ordered DNA test makes it seem this one will likely not go in his favor.

We’re keeping a close eye on Future and will update you as developments begin to surface. For now, comment below and let us know your thoughts on his latest material.
