Purity Ring Release Soulja Boy Cover, Relaunch Website, and Announce Spring Tour

Continuing their foray into the world of hip-hop melding endeavors, indie pop juggernaut Purity Ring have released an appropriately timed cover of Soulja Boy’s “Grammy” (something he’s never won) and we think it’s safe to say that it’s far superior to its source material. With the pop duo’s signature production and Megan James’ impressively lovable vocals, this version would easily see mass radio play if it were the original. You can stream the track below the jump.

Purity Ring have also relaunched their official website as of today where you can find new merch and the dates for their forthcoming North American tour this Spring (including Coachella) with support from Blue Hawaii (excluding Coachella).
