Trinidad James is the first big breakout act from the urban music landscape in 2013, and last night he took his rising star to Jimmy Fallon’s stage for a performance of his debut single, “All Gold Everything.”
Dressed in one of his outrageous yet supposedly fashionable outfits, James graced Fallon’s stage backed by Jimmy’s live band, a small brass section, and a DJ. Given the explicit nature of the original track, James’ performance was held back by the need to recite the family-friends version of his own song, but anyone who only knows him from the radio will surely find something to enjoy in the footage. You can view the performance below.
James’ debut release, Don’t Be S.A.F.E., was recently added to iTunes after previously being available for free online. If you love this track, please be sure to support Trinidad so he can give us new material sooner than later.
