VIDEO: Lil Wayne Disses NBA And The Miami Heat, Refers To Himself As “New Pac” While On Stage

Lil Wayne

It’s hate on the NBA and the Miami Heat day and Lil Wayne is invited.

Weezy isn’t afraid to take on the world, or at least a couple of really tall professional athletes. While on stage in Houston at a birthday celebration for rapper/mentor Birdman (brought to you by Beats By Dre), Wayne stated that he had been banned from all NBA games at the behest of the Miami Heat.

Publicly, it would appear that this latest animosity was seeded by Wayne’s removal from the Heat’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers last week. But as The Smoking Section notes, this isn’t the first time that Wayne has had ill words for an NBA organization. In addition to previous tirades against the Heat, Wayne has also thrown shade against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

We’ve got the video and more NSFW details about the story after the jump.

If you’re having an issue gleaning details from the poor quality videos, MTV’s Shaheem Reid and journalist/hip-hop personality Karen Civil were at the event and both were able to provide a solid tweet-by-play of the events.

Finally, Wayne also took the opportunity to brag a bit between disses. The best/most overblown one? “I ain’t Tupac, I’m the new Pac”. Oh boy.

How will the Miami Heat respond? Could they possibly put out a diss track targeting the Young Money rapper?! We can only hope. Ball’s in your court now, boys.

Lil Wayne is the scum of the Earth. I can’t wait till he’s done and nonexistent in pop culture’s eye. It’s annoying what he gets away with. It blows my mind that people enjoy his BS and “music”.
