SXSW Comedy 2013 Lineup Announced

The full lineup for this year’s 2013 SXSW Comedy has been announced, and it’s absolutely stacked from start to finish. From March 9-16, SXSW Comedy is proud to present a packed schedule of stand-up, improv, and sketch showcases, live podcast recordings, comedy-focused panels, and parties at venues across downtown Austin, TX. For six years, SXSW Comedy events – open to all badge and wristband holders – have brought some of the world’s funniest acts to the festival’s diverse audience. IFC’s Comedy Bang Bang
Recently renewed for a second, extended season, IFC hit series Comedy Bang Bang – based on the hit Earwolf podcast – is back at SXSW with host Scott Aukerman, band leader Reggie Watts and friends (3/9 @ The IFC Crossroads House).

Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell

Two Man Movie
In this completely improvised show, Neil Casey (Saturday Night Live) and Anthony Atamanuik (30 Rock) perform a never-before-seen movie (3/11 @ The IFC Crossroads House).

Conspiracy Theory Live with Jesse Ventura
The former Governor and wrestling legend (as played by James Adomian) has assembled a team of investigative experts to help unravel the biggest conspiracy yet (3/11 @ The IFC Crossroads House).

The Chris Gethard Show
Proudly billed as “the most bizarre and often saddest talk show in New York City,” this public access hit has fans across the globe (3/12 @ The IFC Crossroads House).

Robert Kelly’s Nasty Show
Presented by The Laugh Button and Gotham Comedy Club, this show challenges comics to bring their bluest material (3/12 @ Esther’s Follies); with Robert Kelly, Aisha Tyler, Matt Braunger, Jay Oakerson.

The Super Serious Show
