Details on this story are hazy and haven’t received a hard confirmation, but the evidence in place is pretty compelling.

It appears that Howard Jones, vocalist for Killswitch Engage prior to current singer Jesse Leach’s return to the fold, is working on new music with a new set of collaborators.

The first bits of info came from the Facebook page of artist development and promotions company RebelPyro Management. Somebody over there was peeking at the Info page for a one Mike Gitter, an A&R representative for Century Media Records and a manager over at King Artist Management. Gitter, who lists his professional experience on his Facebook page, notes a “Howard Jones Band” under the entry for King Artist Management.

The story doesn’t end there, though.

Heavy Blog Is Heavy noted that Gitter also stated in the About Me section of his Facebook page that:

“2011-2013: … [I reunited] with [my] old cohort Mr. Howard Jones in a brand new band with guys from All Shall Perish and Devolved.”

Metal Injection then got into the mix and reported that a source close to some of the alleged parties involved stated that this was indeed a real project. The source also named All Shall Perish guitarist Francesco Artusato as one of the principals in Jones’ yet-to-be-named project.

No word confirming or denying any part of this yet from the people said to be involved. We’ll continue to follow this story as it develops.

This could be amazing. Francesco Artusato is an insanely good guitarist.
